John Roscoe Newhouse age 58, passed away peacefully in the presence of loved ones Monday, April 4th, 2022, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. John was born September 2nd, 1963, to Phil Newhouse (Sharon Newhouse) and Lynna Sue Jessop (Michael Ankrom) of Cambridge City, IN. John graduated from Lincoln High School in the class of 1982.

He was preceded in death by his brother Jason Lowell Newhouse, grandparents Roscoe and Ruth Newhouse, stepfather Michael Ankrom, and stepson Steven Johnathan James Fowler.

John is survived by his 4 sons, Wes Newhouse, Chase Newhouse, Cole Newhouse, and Wyatt Newhouse. John is also survived by Angie Cornett Fowler and daughters Amanda Holliman and Brittney Brown. Of these, John was blessed with a total of 12 grandchildren that he loved wholeheartedly. John had 2 brothers and 4 sisters and many nieces and nephews that he loved.

Besides spending time with family, John had a passion for riding his Harley. He invested time organizing benefit rides and other events. Passionately nicknamed “Foz” by his friends, John had many close to him whom he loved dearly and considered his brothers and sisters. He was a skilled automotive technician and was very knowledgeable on most things Harley Davidson. John touched many lives with his willingness to help others and his passion for life, freedom, and the thrill of the ride.

Upon John’s requests there will be no funeral service. Arrangements for the celebration of life planned for friends and family will be shared at a later date.
