Juanita F. Roberts, 63, passed away Sunday evening, May 19, 2019, at Reid Health in Richmond. She had been a resident for the past six years at Heritage House of Connersville and had been in failing health for several years.

She was born September 29, 1955, in Connersville, one of fifteen children of Roy A. “Kilroy” and Carolyn Pate Gray.

On September 17, 1977, she was married in the Laurel Nazarene Church to Marvin Roberts, who survives.

Juanita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and enjoyed cooking and being a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for her family and enjoyed attending to the family pet dog.

She attended the Laurel Pentecostal Church and the Alpine Pentecostal Church.

Besides her husband of 41 years, Marvin Roberts, survivors include two children, Roy N. Roberts, of Laurel and Mischell Lynn Roberts, of Connersville; a grandson, Bently Chase Roberts, of Connersville; her mother, Carolyn Gray, of Laurel; twelve siblings, Carol Sue (Merle) Davis, of Centerville, IN, Judith Gray and Dallas (Nancy) Gray, both of Laurel, Gary Gray, of Connersville, Beverly Wilson, of Modoc, IN, Donald (Ann) Gray, of Seymour, IN, Jerry (Lou) Gray, Wilbur Gray and James Gray, all of Laurel, Pamela (Charlie Tincher) Gray, of Rush County, IN, Joyce (Mark Allamon) Rea, of Richmond, IN and Jeff Gray, of Laurel. She is blessed with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Juanita is preceded in death by her father, Roy A. “Kilroy” Gray; two brothers, Michael Gray and Robert Lee Gray.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM, Saturday, May 25, 2019, at the Laurel Pentecostal Church with Pastor Glen Goins and Pastor Tony Stidham officiating. Burial will be in Cupps Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 11 AM until 1 PM Saturday and anytime online at millermosterrobbins.com.
