SPICELAND- Judith Ann Johns, 68, passed away Friday evening October 6, 2017 at her home in rural Spiceland with her family at her side.

Judith was born in Muncie, Indiana on February 10, 1949. She was raised in the Cowan community and graduated from high school there in 1967.

Judy was employed at I.U.P.U.I. as secretary for the Dean of Schools for 16 years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Kiwanis and was a Master Gardener. Judy enjoyed spending time outdoors, being with her family and was an excellent cook.

Survivors include her mother, Vivian “Lucy” Amonett of Noblesville; husband Dale L. Johns, whom she married in October of 1969; 4 children, Jeremiah Dale Johns of Spiceland, Michelle Kay Mills of Spiceland, Angela Monique Hussey of Noblesville and Heather Marie Perkins of Spiceland; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, Walter H. Amonett; 1 grandson, Tyler J. Johns on December 30, 2012.
