Judith Kay Turner, age 77, of Richmond, Indiana, died Sunday, September 2, 2018, at Reid Health.
Born November 18, 1940, in Richmond, Indiana, to Roy Lee and Lorene Elizabeth Cronin Parker, Judy was a 1958 graduate of Centerville High School. She worked at AVCO for 9 years in electronic assembly and then in private duty nursing. Judy was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading; watching sports, especially IU basketball, football, and golf; and playing Bingo.
Survivors include her daughters, Lisa (Blake) Warfield, Lori E. Sorenson, and Kathy Jo (Tony) Phillips, all of Richmond; grandchildren, Erin (Kevin) Handley, Jesse Warfield, Parker Turner, Caitlyn Scudiero, and Nolan Scudiero, all of Richmond, Brian (Scheleta) Phillips of Centerville, Indiana, Brooke Phillips of Texas, and Brandi, Breanna, and Anthony Brent Phillips, all of Richmond; 29 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marianne Robinson, Sheila Parks, Elaine Walton, and Jacqueline Shaffer; and brother, John Francis Parker.
There will be private services for Judith Kay Turner. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
