Judith M. King Hamm, age 83, of Centerville, Indiana, died Monday, July 2, 2018, at Ambassador Healthcare.
Born May 11, 1935, in Centerville, Indiana, to Kermit and Pansie Plummer King, Judy was a life-long resident of Centerville. She grew up on the King family farm and was a 1953 graduate of Centerville High School. After graduating, Judy began working at Centerville State Bank, which in later years was sold to the current U.S. Bank, from where she retired in 1998 after 43 years of service. Judy served on the board of the Centerville-Abington Senior Center and volunteered with Meals on Wheels. Above all, she loved spoiling her 22 nieces and nephews, as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews.
Survivors include her sister, Olive Baker of Economy, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Eileen King of Cambridge City, Indiana, and Peggy King of Milton, Indiana; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Alma (Wayne) Fouts and Kay Smith; and brothers, Stephen, Thomas, and Walter King.
Visitation for Judith King Hamm will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2018, at Crown Hill Cemetery.
