June Steinken Nocton 91 of Richmond died Monday evening at Forest Park Health Campus surrounded by her family. She was born August 26, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Mary Werbic Steinken.

She married Malcolm E. Nocton on October 26, 1946. They were together until he passed away in 2005. A homemaker; she was long-time member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic minister.
June’s survivors include children Catherine (James) Taylor of Abington, Michael E. (Sandy) Nocton of Richmond, Susan (John) Brunner of Indianapolis and Carol (Andy) Craig of Centerville. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Rebecca (Donald) Tincher, Kim (Gary) Jenkins, Chris (Jennifer) Taylor, Mike (Brandi) Taylor, Michael (Janel) Nocton, Heather (James) Davis, Joe Dickman, Jason (Melissa) Craig and James Craig; 22 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant twin daughters, Julie and Teresa; daughter, Jennifer; her parents; and her brother William.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday January 27, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev, Kevin Morris officiating. Following mass burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the church. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
