Kenneth Scott Hilbert, 60, passed away Tuesday evening March, 29, 2022 at his home in Connersville, Indiana.  Kenneth was born in New Castle, Indiana on December 18, 1961.  He grew up in the Dublin and Cambridge City communities and moved to Connersville 2 ½ years ago from Bentonville.  When he was eighteen years old, he and his former wife Teresa moved to Florida where they lived for ten years and started their family. Kenny had been a truck driver for Hiner Transport and was also previously employed at the Richmond Recycling Center as a machine operator. Kenny enjoyed tinkering on cars, fishing with his grandkids and was an avid NASCAR fan.  He looked forward every week to attending Sunday church services with his grandkids at Deliverance Tabernacle in Connersville.

Survivors include 2 children, Crystal Ann (Lloyd Spicer Jr.) Hilbert and Zachariah Lee Hilbert; 8 grandchildren, Bryant Hilbert, Chassidie Liu, Isabelle Morales, Caleb Scott, Elaina Ann, Emaleigh, Trinity Grace and Elliot Michael Hilbert; 5 siblings, Timothy Allen, Randy Eugene and Kimberly Sue Hilbert, Mable Giridler and James Early; nieces and nephews.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Lee Hilbert; mother, Marjorie (Harris) Evans; son, Joel Elliot Hilbert on January 8, 2022; first love, Teresa Ann Lockwood on February 5, 2017.

Following cremation at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, visitation will be on Wednesday April 13, 2022 from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. at Deliverance Tabernacle – 2700 N. Grand Ave./ Connersville, IN 47331. Pastor Merril Sealy will officiate. Burial will follow at Brick Cemetery in Hagerstown.
