CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Kevin R. Capps, age 48, of Centerville, Indiana, died Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Rosebud Village after a lengthy battle with Huntington’s disease.

Born February 2, 1970, in Richmond, Indiana, to Eddie R. and Carolyn L. Bricker Capps, Kevin lived in Centerville, Indiana, most of his life. He attended Centerville High School and served in the National Guard, where he completed his education. Kevin formerly worked as a roofer. In his younger years, he enjoyed racing BMX bikes and proudly won first place at the state competition during his final year of racing. Kevin loved NASCAR, hunting, outdoor sports, and Colts football.

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn L. Anderson of Centerville; brothers, Toney Capps and Andy Anderson, both of Centerville; aunts; uncles; many cousins; and many friends, including special friends, Jeff Price and Bill Gephart.

He was preceded in death by his father and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation for Kevin R. Capps will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Mills Funeral Home with Kim Young officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
