Larry E. Hamm, age 81, of Richmond, Indiana, died Friday, April 20, 2018, at IU Simon Cancer Center.
Born October 28, 1936, in Wayne County, Indiana, to Harold and Alice Long Hamm, Larry graduated from Centerville High School. He lived in Wayne County all of his life. Larry was a dump truck driver for the Wayne County Highway Department for over 20 years and later retired as a long haul truck driver. He was an avid race fan and enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds on TV. Larry loved spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his cousins; special nieces, Diane King of Richmond and Janet (Tim) Nelson of Centerville; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Larry E. Hamm will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Brett Karanovich officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
