Lawanna Rose Duvall, age 75 of Cambridge City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana, two weeks before her birthday. She was born August 7, 1945 in Richmond, Indiana, a daughter of William Richard Heath, Sr., and Edna Elizabeth (Soper) Heath.
Lawanna was a very giving and caring women, but everyone knew she had a little grumpy old lady side. She enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and a friend who were like family to her. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her loving memory include two sons, Shawn Duvall of Richmond, Indiana and Shane Duvall of Cambridge City, Indiana; a sister, Linda (husband, Robert) Klingman of Richmond; a brother, Rick (wife, Hilda) Heath also of Richmond; a grandson, Sean Richard of Cambridge City; a granddaughter, Ciera of Cambridge City, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she loved dearly and was like family to her.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother; her husband, James Duvall; a grandson, Josh Duvall; a sister, Willie Mitchell; a brother, William Heath, Jr., a niece, Christmas Elliott; a daughter-in-law, Jenny.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Macer-Hall-Marcum & Moffitt Funeral Home, 2011 East Broad Street, New Castle, with Pastor Paul Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
