Lenora G. Irvin, age 100, formerly of Cambridge City, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 in Rome, Georgia. She was born on October 4, 1917 in Linton, IN to Shelby and Ina (Fulk) Potter.

Lenora and her late husband, Charles N. Irvin, Sr. DDS, were married for 68 years and enjoyed a wonderful life in Cambridge City, where they raised their family and were very active in their community. She was the office manager at the dental practice and was also in charge of the dental lab.
Lenora and Charles always made sure life was active and fun for their family and they enjoyed numerous hours on the lake boating and water skiing. In retirement they enjoyed traveling and seeing the world and eventually had a second home in Texas. In September of 2015, she made her home at The Harbor of Rome, Georgia, where she remained active in many activities.

She is survived by a son, Charles “Pete” Irvin, Jr. and his wife Rachel of Rome, GA; a daughter, Carol and her husband Fred Green of Marietta, GA; three grandchildren, Patrick Green, Julia Williams and Leah Rosen; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Waskom Capitol Hill chapel until the start of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon. Rev. Max Milton will be officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
