Linda M. Gabbard Brandenburg, age 81, of Richmond, Indiana, left to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Ambassador Healthcare.
Born March 6, 1941, in Cambridge City, Indiana, to Alfred and Edith Gabbard, Linda was a life-long resident of this area. Linda attended Kings Highway Holiness Church.
Linda was loved by many, many people as her granddaughter Linda Loraine would say, but Linda would respond, “Don’t hold me up too high, I have been sassy. I am who I am.” Linda tried her best to serve and follow Jesus after He saved her soul and healed her. She would tell you today if she could, “Don’t weep, but rejoice, knowing I am in that place (Paradise).” She will be expecting to see her children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, many family members and friends in Paradise.
Survivors include her children, Timothy Brandenburg, Scott Brandenburg, Stephany (Fred) Brandenburg Drew; many loving grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; three sisters, Karen Buroker, Sue Bailey, Mary Elaine Velee; nieces; nephews; cousins; church family; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Brandenburg who died on February 22, 2017; parents; and sister, Barbara Mitchener.
Visitation for Linda Gabbard Brandenburg will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny L. Shepherd Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
