CAMBRIDGE CITY- Lisa JoAnne Sanders, 55, passed away early Wednesday morning October 26, 2016 at her home in Cambridge City, Indiana.

Lisa was born in Lafayette, Indiana on July 28, 1961. She attended Tri County High School in Wolcott with the class of 1979 and earned her degree in Graphic Arts in St. Petersburg, Florida.

She was employed as a graphic artist for the St. Petersburg Times and the Lafayette Journal & Courier. Lisa loved to travel and was known as the family nomad. Prior to making Cambridge City her home, Lisa had also lived in Columbus, Ohio, Washington State and Vancouver, British Columbia. Lisa was a creative artist and in her leisure, enjoyed doing craftwork and fishing.

Survivors include her mother, Barbara I. (Radcliffe) Sanders of Richmond, VA; 3 siblings, Roxanne (Mike) Eckart of Cambridge City, Laurene (Bill) Creekbaum of Bradenton, FL and Vincent (Carmen) Sanders of Kentland; several nieces, nephews and her canine companion, Wish.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Lewis C. Sanders in September of 2006.

Following cremation, a private family gathering will be held in honor of Lisa’s life. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
