Margaret Gorman, 99, a resident of New Castle passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at Stonebrooke Rehab Center. She was born July 6, 1921 in New Castle to the late Daniel and Edna Davis.
She was a member of the First Bible Freewill Baptist Church in New Castle. Margaret enjoyed crafts, ceramics and crocheting.
Survivors include a daughter: Melinda (Jim “Junior”) Vaughn of Currituck, North Carolina; a son: David Gorman of Greenwood; grandchildren: Teresa, Lisa and Jamey; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Ruby Gorman; several nieces
and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years: Ralph E. Gorman; a daughter: Sandra Kendall and a grandson: Scotty Kendall.
