Margie Tuttle, 91, of Connersville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
She was born on September 25, 1927, in Adolphus, KY, and is the daughter of Bert Alderson and Ettie Douglas Alderson. On July 31, 1948, she married Lloyd Tuttle in Franklin, Kentucky. They were able to enjoy 67 years together before he passed on November 22, 2015.
Her strong Christian faith was evident in the way she lived her life. Margie was a member of Western Avenue Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife of 67 years, and was known for being a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by two daughters, Lucinda (Dean) Falkner and Joy (William) Roberts, both of Connersville; a son, David (Michele) Tuttle, of Indianapolis; six grandchildren, Angela (Scott) Snodgrass, of Economy, IN, Melissa (Ryan) Current, of Greensburg, IN, Justin (Shay) Roberts, of Greenfield, IN, Kristin (Chris) Boger, of Brookville, IN, Lora (Justin) Stahl, of Columbus, OH, and Carolyn (Jon) Majors, of Indianapolis, IN; as well as six great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Eula Gaines, Jewell Riggs, Lois Hinton and Jettie Ruth Durham, and two brothers, Arlie & Everett Alderson.
Visitation for Margie will be on Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm at the funeral home, with Minister Jeremiah Burdon officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
