Marguerite Miller, age 94, of Centerville, Indiana, died Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Brookdale Richmond.
Born June 24, 1924, in Richmond, Indiana, to Evan James and Edna Marie McMahan Martin, Marguerite was a life-long resident of Wayne County. She graduated from Centerville High School. Marguerite formerly worked at Earlham College, Walled Lake Door Company, and Philco-Ford Corporation. She was a member of Christ United Church. Marguerite enjoyed traveling, being outdoors, gardening, looking at clouds, and spending time with her family. She loved her dog, Penny.
Survivors include her daughters, Ann (Dave) Silvia of Centerville and Jane (Tim) Mills of Houston, Texas; sons, John E. (Karen) Miller of Richmond and Monte (Sharon) Miller of Pensacola, Florida; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Lou Hamilton of Centerville; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Ralph V. Miller, who died October 24, 2008; grandson, Michael Miller; parents; and brother, Robert Martin.
Graveside service for Marguerite Miller will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September, 19, 2018, at Crown Hill Cemetery, 407 Short Street, Centerville with Pastor Brett Karanovich officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville.
