RICHMOND, Ind. – Marjorie L. Hornbrook, age 92, of Richmond, Ind., died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018, at Friends Fellowship Community.
Born September 16, 1926, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Charles Edwin and Marie Shrawder Heywood, Marjorie lived most of her life in Dublin, Indiana, and Eaton, Ohio.
She graduated from Earlham College. Marjorie retired from teaching at Eaton High School.
Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth (Tod) Clingman of Brook Park, Ohio, and Jennifer Thomas of Lynn, Indiana; son, John Hornbrook of Eaton, Ohio; grandsons, David (Erin) Hornbrook of Amo, Indiana, and Bryon (Heather) Hornbrook of Vandalia, Ohio; and three great-granddaughters, Charlee, Madeleine, and Avery Hornbrook.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William H. Hornbrook, who died February 1, 2001; parents; and three brothers.
Memorial service for Marjorie L. Hornbrook was at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at First Friends Meeting, 2010 Chester Boulevard, Richmond, with Pastor Derrick Parker officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
