Marsha G. Cottongim, age 69, of Richmond, Indiana, died Tuesday, July 26, 2022, in Preble County, Ohio.
Marsha was born July 17, 1953, in Middletown, Ohio, and had lived in Richmond for 40 years. She was an LPN and had also worked at Manpower, Kmart, and as a greeter at Walmart. Marsha enjoyed fishing, bingo, shopping at Jungle Jim’s International Market and Sam’s Club, wrestling, and going to the movies. She especially enjoyed taking care of her kids and grandkids.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Roger W. Cottongim, to whom she was married on October 10, 1993; children, Jennifer L. (William) Gabbard, Amanda (Jack) Allen, Connie (Garrick) Richards, Adam Martinez, Christopher (Anna) Martinez, and Brian Redinger; grandchildren, Angelia (Justin), Mason, Brandon (Brittany), Nicholas (Savannah), William (Kelsey), Megain (Christopher), Matthew, Destiny, Gabrielle, and Alexander; great-grandchildren, Michael, Rachael, Austin, Hope, Parker, Emma, Noah, Lillyonha, and Roselina.
She was preceded in death by grandchildren, Michael Shane Donovan Epps and Brevan Lee and brother, Timothy Markland.
Visitation for Marsha G. Cottongim will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
