Marty Gillam, 82, Cambridge City, passed away Wednesday morning June 9, 2021 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.  A daughter of the late Fred and Elizabeth (Spell) Wilt, Marty was born in New Castle, Indiana on April 7, 1939.  She was a 1957 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School.  Formerly of Pendleton, she has made her home in rural Cambridge City since 1974. A homemaker, Marty was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include 2 children, Tony Gillam of Richmond and April Lynn (Michael) Brower of Naples, FL; 4 grandchildren, Lindsey Touchette, Nicholas Brower, Kaitlyn Jared and Jeremy Spicer; 10 great grandchildren, Addisyn, Gavin, Harper, Emerson, Jude, Ava, Ethan, Micah, Livy and Asher; 3 sisters, Freda Freshour, Mary Lou Conway and Helen Brown; nieces and nephews.

Marty was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Ray Gillam on April 4, 2008.  They were married in New Castle on August 5, 1960; daughter in-law, Brenda K. (Wilson) Gillam on August 24, 2006; 2 siblings, William Wilt and Betty Jo Clark.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday June 14, 2021 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin.  Gordon Mehaffey will officiate.  Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday June 13th.
