Mary E. “Babe” Caldwell, 56, of Connersville, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Fayette Regional Health.
She was born on October 12, 1962, in Connersville, Indiana, and is the daughter of the late Catherine O’Harra Caldwell and John F. Caldwell. Mary had attended Zion Tabernacle Apostolic Church.
She was employed by Benchmark Services and had participated in the Special Olympics for several years. Mary loved playing Bingo and going to yard sales. She enjoyed collecting all things Mickey Mouse, and cherished being around animals and babies.
She is survived by four sisters, Barbara Orr, of Connersville, Rebecca Smith, of Connersville, Frances Yoder, of Cambridge City, and Misty Caldwell, also of Cambridge City; two brothers, Bobby Caldwell, of Connersville, and Tim Caldwell, of Columbus, OH; a niece, Michelle Orr; and two nephews, Jamie Orr and Bryon Caldwell, and her entire Benchmark family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Randy, John, Chuck, and William Caldwell and Mike Fish.
Visitation for Mary will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville. The funeral service will follow at 6:00pm, at the funeral home, with her brother-in-law, Pastor James Orr officiating.
