Mary F. Fisher, age 81 of Richmond, Indiana died Tuesday morning, (July 19, 2022) at Robin Run Village, Indianapolis.
She was born in Richmond, May 30, 1941, to Richard J. Austerman and Martha Mary Green and lived in Richmond until 2019. She was a 1959 graduate of Williamsburg, Indiana high school, and was an Office Manager for several local State Farm Insurance branches, most recently with Mike Miller, Richmond IN, until her retirement in 2004. She was a member of Holy Family / Seton Catholic Church.
Survivors include daughter Becky (husband Pete Pfile) of Lago Vista, TX; sons, Keith (wife Susan) of Indianapolis, IN, Kenneth (wife Lynn) of Birmingham, AL, and Dr. Michael (fiancé Lynn Hall) Fisher of Connersville, IN, brother Richard Austerman of Madisonville, TN , and sister Roseanne Nichols of Cumberland, RI; 9 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Edward Fisher, parents Richard and Martha Austerman, and brother Dr. John Austerman of Moreland, IN.
Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday July 25, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Father Todd Reibe will officiate. Burial will immediately follow in St. Andrews Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 24, 2022, from 3-6p.m. at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary.
