Mary Joan Conway, 85, of Fountain City, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Reid Health.
She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on July 20, 1935 to Frank Benton & Lois Lorene George Strong. She lived most of her life in Fountain City, Indiana.
Mary Jo was a homemaker and a beautician, operating her own shop out of her home.
Mary Jo is survived by her daughter, Virginia Keys; grandchildren, Stephanie, Kimberly, Micah and Bobby; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Murray; and nieces & nephews.
Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James F. Conway, Sr., sons, Jimmy Conway, Jr. and Michael Conway, Sr.; and her grandson, Mikey Conway.
A graveside service will be held at Willow Grove cemetery in Fountain City, Indiana at 3:00 pm on Friday, June 18.
The Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home in Fountain City is assisting with arrangements.
