Matthew Edmund Jordan, 10, of Connersville went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Riley Hospital, Indianapolis after becoming ill at his home on Monday.
One of six children of Michael Edmund Jordan and Mandy Renee McQueen, Matthew was born in Connersville on October 4, 2009. He was a third-grader at Frazee Elementary School.
An avid artist, Matthew enjoyed painting, sketching, drawing, building with Legos, and fishing.
Survivors include his mother, Mandy Renee McQueen of Connersville; five siblings, Lindsey Dickey, Gage Jordan, Zack McQueen, Kerstin Jordan, and Ian Rentfrow, all of Connersville; maternal grandmother, Karen McQueen (Kit Mann) of Connersville; maternal grandfather, Roy McQueen of Richmond; paternal grandmother, Cindy Jordan of Connersville; and a nephew, Trenton Michael Simmons of Connersville. Matthew is blessed with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Matthew is preceded in death by his father, Michael Edmund Jordan; and paternal great-grandparents, Janet and Ovie Jordan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor Chris Lovett will officiate. Burial will follow in Everton Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020 at the funeral home.
