GREENS FORK, Ind. – Maurice “Randy” Bane, age 60, of Greens Fork, Indiana, died Monday, January 7, 2019, at Reid Health.

Born February 2, 1958, in Richmond, Indiana, to Maurice E. and Evelyn Caudle Bane, Randy was a life-long resident of Wayne County. He was a 1977 graduate of Hagerstown Jr./Sr. High School. Randy worked for Wabash Trucking for almost 23 years and was a former member of the Clay Township Fire Department. He enjoyed puzzles; NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon; and the Indianapolis Colts.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Evelyn Lynn Davies Bane of Greens Fork; daughter, April Bane of Greens Fork; stepchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Barnett and Christina (Skip) Taylor; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; mother, Evelyn Bane of Greens Fork; sisters, Jennifer L. (Bob) Covington of Centerville, Indiana, and Rebecca L. Farmer and Judith C. Farmer, both of Greens Fork; brothers, Daniel J. (Denise) Bane of Richmond, Indiana, and Thomas K. (Keely) Bane and Curtis S. (Lizann) Bane, both of Greens Fork; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends, including his dog, Jo, who he loved sharing treats with and going on walks and rides together.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation for Maurice “Randy” Bane will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Black officiating. Burial will be in Greens Fork South Cemetery.
