Melissa Renee Carr-Dixon, 58, of Richmond died November 24, 2019, at her home.
She was born March 25, 1961, in Richmond to Clarence and Emma Black Carr and lived here all her life. She was a member of The Recovery Church.
Survivors include her three daughters Misty (Jeremiah) Cannon, Heather (Leonard) Ligon, and Amber Carr, eight grandchildren, three sisters Betty French, Debra Carr, and Gail May, one brother Clarence Carr Jr., nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Ricky Dixon, died November 1, 2017. Her parents, two brothers, James Edward and Larry Carr, and one sister, Ima Robbins, are also deceased.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday November 30, 2019, at Recovery Church, 1501 South 6th Street, Richmond.
