Michael Anthony Warren, age74, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 20, 2021. He was born October 25, 1946, to George A. Warren and Ada Pennington in Richmond, Indiana.
Michael was a lifelong resident of Wayne County. He attended Richmond Community Schools and was a United States Army Veteran. He had worked at P.R.C. and Wayne Works; and was retired from the City of Richmond Sanitation Department.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 42 years: Ava Warren; three sons: Scott (Tina) Watkins, Duane Johnson and Chad (Leslie) Leavell; daughter: Whitney C. Warren; two sisters: Veda L. “Sissy” Hampton and Carla Warren; one brother: Gregory Pennington; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; eight sister-in-law’s; three brother-in-law’s; a special family friend, Carol A. Mack; special friend: Marilyn Winfrey; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Ada Pennington; father: George A. Warren; two brothers: Brian Warren and Lonnie Pennington.
Funeral services will be held at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Derek White officiating.
