Nancy Andrew, 80, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2018, with her family by her side. She was born on September 23, 1937, to Charles and Irene Rose (Emerick) Conway in Jacksonburg. She and her husband, Curtis Andrew, married on December 27, 1955.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 62 years, Curtis; two daughters, Rebecca Heacox of Centerville and Elizabeth Andrew of Bloomington; four grandchildren: Kimberly Blankenship (Chris), Kelly McCarty (Keith), Andrew Heacox (Aimee), and Eric Heacox (Brittiney); 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nonnie Meyer of Jacksonburg. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Loismay Sherwood; and a brother, Charles Conway.
Nancy held numerous jobs at Belden Wire and Cable for 33 years, before retiring as a Purchasing Department Secretary in 1991. She loved her doll collection and was a caretaker for many people. She lived in Hagerstown for most of her life, had moved to Mooresville, and most recently moved back to Richmond.
It was Nancy’s wishes to be cremated and to have a private family burial in Jacksonburg Cemetery.
