Nancy Doris Cuppy, 75, of Conersville passed away early Friday morning, June 7, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was born March 7, 1944 in Connersville, one of seven children of Paul P. and Loretta May Bastin Wildridge.
On December 27, 1960, Nancy married Larry Cuppy, Sr. in Connersville. Mr. Cuppy passed away on March 20, 2016.
For over 10 years, along with her husband, she was employed as a school bus driver for the Fayette County School Corporation and also for many years, they delivered newspapers for the Connersville News-Examiner. Earlier, she was employed in the dietary department of Fayette Memorial Hospital.
She was a founding member of the Greater Vision Church of Connersville. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her pet dachshund, “Samson”. She also enjoyed going fishing with her husband and attending yard sales.
Survivors include four children, Larry M. Cuppy, Jr. and wife, Sandy, of Connersville, Elizabeth Freeman and husband, Keith, of Connersville, Rebecca Lewis and husband, Scott, of Noblesville, Indiana, and Leslie Crumpton and husband, Doug, of Connersville; five grandchildren, Ryan Lewis, of Indianapolis, Katie (Hiro) Yonekawa, of Addison, TX, Abigail (Austin) Ferguson, of Noblesville, IN, Denetria (Torrey) Pursiful, of Connersville and Calen (Audrey Isbell) Crumpton, of Connersville; four great-grandchildren, Rylynn Pursiful, Kennedy Pursiful, Grayson Pursiful and Juniper Ferguson; her siblings, Laura Hicks, of Huntington, OR, Beverly (Charlie) Flynn, Stella (Dave) Adams, Paul “Eddie” (Anita) Wildridge and Nina Sims, all of Connersville; a sister-in-law, Minetta Conley, of Florida. She is also blessed with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her husband of 55 years, Larry Cuppy Sr., she is preceded in death by her parents, two infant daughters, Minetta Jean Cuppy and Margie Kay Cuppy and a brother, James Wildridge.
Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor Eric Hickman and Reverend Richard Henry will officiate. Burial will follow in Village Creek Cemetery.
