Nancy M. Ramsey, 90, of Richmond, Indiana, died of natural causes on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Friends Fellowship Community.

Nancy was born on May 20, 1932, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Robert Harley Doty and Frances Root Lawson (Alex). She was a life-long resident of Wayne County, graduating from Richmond High School in 1950. Nancy worked at Moto-Mower and retired from Dana Corporation Sleeve Castings in the payroll department after 30 years of service.

Nancy loved boating and water skiing at Dale Hollow and Lakengren, where she and her husband designed and built a home. She loved playing cards, traveling, and spending the winter in Myrtle Beach. Nancy was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church where she served as the bookkeeper, and volunteer working on the grounds and in the soup kitchen. Nancy cherished her church family.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah (Brad) Kendall of Morganton, North Carolina; two granddaughters, Stacey (Jason) Brewer and Leah (Josh) Lail; two great-granddaughters Peyton Brewer and Emma Brewer; and devoted stepchildren Trisha (Ron) Kutter, Dennis (Kathy) Larsh, Roger (Amy) Larsh and their families.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 33 years, John Ramsey; her parents Alex and Frances Lawson; her brother Bob Doty; and her beloved second husband Gordan Larsh, who passed away in 2016.

Visitation for Nancy M. Ramsey will be from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 P.M. Thursday, July 28, 2022, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church followed by a Rite I burial service at 1:00 p.m. officiated by The Reverend Dr. Barbara Anne Fisher. Masks are required. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Centerville, Indiana. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home in Richmond.
