Nancy Wayson, age 75, of Connersville, passed away on March 31, 2022, at Reid Health. She was born on June 11, 1946, in Clay County, Kentucky one of six children of the late Robert and Mallie Davidson Sizemore.
On July 25, 1964 in Connersville she married William Wayson. They shared 52 years together before his passing in 2016. William and Nancy were blessed with two boys.
Nancy retired for Fayette Memorial Hospital in Environmental Services and had also worked at Philco for around 8 years. She enjoyed doing crafts, working in her flower gardens, cooking, and spending time with family.
She is survived by her sons, Billy (Jennifer) Wayson and Richard Wayson of Connersville; three grandchildren, Kylie (Ryan) Kuhn of Lewisville, Kyle Wayson of Connersville and Brittany (Michael) Mengedoht of Connersville.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded by five brothers and a sister.
Graveside services will be conducted at Laurel North Cemetery on Wednesday April 6, 2022, at 12:00 noon.
