Onda K. Retter, 71, of Richmond passed away March 24, 2020, in her home after a long illness. She was born April 5, 1948 in Ft. Recovery, Ohio to James and Pauline Arnold Courtney and lived in Richmond all of her life.
She worked as a psychiatric attendant at the Richmond State Hospital.
She is survived by her three children Susan (Jason Thurston) Retter of Losantville, Natalie (Rick) Adams of Richmond, James (Cindy) Retter of Richmond, six grandchildren Abigail Adams, Memorie Wallace, Dakota Retter, Alexis Rose, Sydni Retter, Nevada Retter, three great-grandchildren and one on the way; seven brothers and sister, several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 20 years, John Melvin Retter who passed away in 1985, four brothers and sisters.
A private graveside service will be held 1:00PM Saturday March 28, 2020, in Bethel Cemetery. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
