Patricia “Pat” A. Kendall, age 78, was called home on Saturday evening, June 5, 2021. A New Castle resident, she was born October 16, 1942 in Terre Haute, Indiana and was the daughter of Harry Goodwin and Marjorie “Pratt” Davidson.
She was a beautician for a few years and had worked for nursing homes in New Castle, Indiana. She was a den mother for the Boy Scouts of America for several years at Hernley Elementary. In the early 80’s she and her husband, Arnold, moved to California and then ended up in Scottsdale, Arizona before returning to Grays Lake, Illinois and then back home to New Castle. She held several jobs of different kind on their adventures out west. Pat enjoyed sewing and working puzzle books.
She is survived by two daughters, Dixie Watson (Ricky King) of Jonesboro, Indiana and Phyllis (Tommy) Woods of New Castle, Indiana; two sons, Jackie (Amanda) Brown of New Castle and Rick (Holly) Brown; two stepsons, Troy (Marilyn) Kendall and Timothy Kendall, both of New Castle; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; aunt, Dottie Mikel; several cousins; extended family, Michael, Glenda and Wyatt Cecil.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepdad, Jesse Davidson, husband, Arnold L. Kendall; one grandchild and one great-grandchild, Lucien Coles Lowe.
