Western Wayne Elementary Principal Jessica Neill, left, and Nicole Kapp, Western Wayne Schools' Communities in Schools site coordinator

Here’s a request for personal care products, underwear, socks and school supplies from Nicole Kapp, the site coordinator for Communities in Schools at Western Wayne Schools. She helps connect kids and families with community resources to help them overcome obstacles and stay in school.

“Western Wayne Elementary and Lincoln Middle/High School are looking for donations of the following items: laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss, combs, hairbrushes, underwear and socks in various sizes for students k-12, regular and tri-fold poster boards, and dry erase markers. We could also use new or gently used men’s sweatpants for middle school and high school aged students.
Anyone who is interested in making a donation to either Western Wayne Elementary or Lincoln Middle/High School, can contact the Communities In Schools Site Coordinator, Nicole Kapp. I can be contacted by phone at (765) 478-3622 ext. 1129, and email at nkapp@wwayne.k12.in.us. Donations can also be dropped off at the main office of either school. Thank you for your support of Western Wayne Schools!”

Those items are also needed for students at other schools around Wayne County. Items can be dropped off at Communities in Schools office at 33 S. Seventh St., Richmond.
Financial gifts may be made at https://www.ciswayneco.org/donate/ on the Tools for Schools link and staff will purchase needed items.
