Ralph Eugene Kenworthy, 85, of Greens Fork, died Monday, May 7, 2018, at Reid Health, Richmond.
He was born in Cambridge City on October 8, 1932 to Harold and Eva May (Weaver) Kenworthy and was a life long resident of Wayne County. He was a member of Greens Fork United Methodist Church and a retired employee of Perfect Circle / Dana Corp. Ralph served with the U.S. Army 1953-1956. He was former Greens Fork Town Marshal and had served as commissioner of Greens Fork Little League.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Kenworthy; three children, Debbie Cowan (Rick), Cheryl Wampler (John) and Ron Kenworthy (Dena); six grandchildren, Ryan Cowan, Matt Cowan, Whitney Pentecost, Garrett Shook, Allyson Ward and Kristen Kenworthy; seven great-grandchildren, Cara, Bryce, Brynn, Jase, Max, Jarrett and Kelsey; a great-grandson; four sisters, Doris Joyce, Dorothea Oakes, Alice Ladd and Joyce Owens; a brother, Robert Kenworthy (Connie); two sisters-in-law, Pat Thalls (Don) and Jeanie Stamper; a brother-in-law, Howard Ruby and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Helen Hutchison, Kenneth Kenworthy and Howard Kenworthy.
Services were Friday, May 11, at Greens Fork United Methodist Church. Rev. Charlie Black officiated with burial in Greens Fork South Cemetery.
