RICHMOND, Ind. – Rena Lynn Cook, age 55, of Richmond, Indiana, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Reid Health.
Born August 20, 1962, in Richmond, Indiana, to Dennis and Linda Wesler Turner, Rena was a life-long resident of this community. She graduated from Centerville High School. Rena was a member of the former New Creations Chapel. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Rena loved yard sales, Bingo, and wrestling.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Billy Cook; daughter, Jessica Cowin of Richmond; stepdaughter, Katie Jenkins of Richmond; mother and stepfather, Linda and Bob Hoover of Las Vegas, Nevada; father, Dennis Turner of Liberty, Indiana; sisters, Stephanie (Earl) Jacobson of Las Vegas, Krista Turner and Cammy Turner, both of Richmond, Angel Turner of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Debra (Jim) Sams of Centerville, Indiana; brothers, Rick Hoover of Indianapolis and Doug Hoover of Texas; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
Visitation for Rena Lynn Cook will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Thomas officiating.
