Richard Alvin Huntsman, 76, Dublin, passed away Thursday evening June 10, 2021 at his home in Dublin with his family at his side.  A son of the late Ernest Lee and Minnie (Barnes) Huntsman, Richard was born in Henry County, Indiana on June 17, 1944.  He attended Bentonville and Dublin schools.  Richard was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany.  He worked for the Department of Defense as a Quality Assurance Inspector and retired after 20 years of service.  He was a member of the Cambridge City Masonic Lodge #5 and a 50 year member of Lawrence H. Bertsch American Legion Post 169.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Barbara Ann (Carlin) Huntsman, whom he married in Hagerstown on March 25, 1966; 2 daughters, Becki (Mitch) Miller and Missy (Chad) Moschel; 3 grandchildren, Michael (Marie) Huntsman, Jessica (Elena) Miller and Devin Huntsman; 2 step grandchildren, Dalton and Rachel Moschel; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.   Richard was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Roland, Kenneth, Donald and Billy.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday June 15, 2021 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin.  Emmett Ade will officiate.  Burial with Military Honors conducted by contingents of the Unites States Army Honor Guard and American Legion Post 169 will follow.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday June 14th  from 4 p.m. until the start of Masonic services at 7:30 p.m.
