RICHMOND, Ind. – Ricky Smith, age 51, of Richmond, died Friday, December 16, 2016, at his home.
Born July 3, 1965, in Richmond, Indiana to Manford and Rebecca Smith, Ricky was a life-long resident of Richmond. He formerly worked for Delucio and Sons. Ricky had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh. He loved music and enjoyed fixing things. Ricky loved his family and was a good father and great friend.
Survivors include his daughters, Jessica Miller and Jacqueline Smith, both of Richmond, and Breanna Mink of Florida; son, Zach Smith of Richmond; eight grandchildren, including Max, Lydia, Vanden, Alaysha, and Brianna; life partner, Andrea Butler of Richmond; sister, Cynthia Suttles of Cambridge City; other extended family; and many friends including Eric McClure.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mickey Smith; and step-father, John Fultz.
Visitation for Ricky Smith was from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2016, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. A memorial service followed at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2016, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home.
