Rita J. Robinson, age 63, of Richmond, Indiana, died Thursday, October 21, 2021, at her home.
Born May 3, 1958, in Richmond, Indiana, to Loren and Margaret Brumley Steele, Rita was a life-long resident of Wayne County, Indiana. She graduated from Hagerstown High School. Rita worked at Belden for 22 years. She was an avid Colts fan and loved being a grandma.
Survivors include her daughters, Camille (Zeb) Locke of Centerville, Indiana, and Candice (Kenny) Horner of Winchester, Indiana; grandchildren, Leona Robinson and Breyer and Charlie Horner; siblings, Mike (Fay) Steele of West Virginia, Lora Harter of Anderson, Indiana, Tony (Brenda) Steele of Kentucky, Tim (Teresa) Steele of Florida, and Jon (Kelly) Steele of Ohio; aunt; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sandra M “Sandy” Wagers.
Visitation for Rita J. Robinson will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home.
