Ruby Virginia Reece, 90, a long time Greens Fork resident, died Sunday, August 27, 2017, at Golden Rule Rehab Center, where she had resided for the past 2 years.
She was born in Burkes Garden, VA on March 16, 1927 to Otie and Mary Katherine (Felty) Wilson and lived most of her life in the Greens Fork area.
Ruby was a former employee of DECCA Records and was an avid gardener.
She is survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Reece in 2011, a daughter, Dixie Reece in 2004 and siblings Jack Wilson, Jim Wilson and Mattie Wells.
Visitation will be 12 PM to 1 PM on Thursday, August 31, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Services will follow at 1:00 PM. Pastor Adam Rinehart will officiate. Burial will be in Greens Fork South Cemetery.
