Ruby Woolwine, age 88, of Richmond, Indiana, died Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Forest Park Health Campus.
Ruby was born April 20, 1933, in Jackson County, Kentucky, but lived in Richmond most of her life. She was a member of King’s Highway Holiness. Ruby enjoyed doing yard work and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Ralph (Darlene) Callahan of Centerville, Indiana, and Sheila (Glen) Mason of St. Augustine, Florida; grandchildren, Justin Callahan of Indianapolis, Indiana, Amanda (Bill) Sandford of Springfield, Ohio, and Laura Olson of Florida; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Calvin Callahan, Mason Kearns, Jackson Sandford, and Ellie and Eli Olson; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Everett M. Woolwine, who died on September 17, 2009; parents; sister and brother; and great-uncle, Joe Witt.
Visitation for Ruby Woolwine will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Brother Doris Lakes officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
