Russell Wayne Greutman, 56, of Milton, passed away Monday evening, April 22, 2019, at his home. Under a physcian’s care for several years, but his death was unexpected.
One of four children of Arthur Russell and Datha Joy Lewis Greutman, Russ was born in Defiance, Ohio, on October 24, 1962. He graduated from Tinora High School in Defiance with the class of 1981. Russ moved to Connersville in the fall of 1999 to marry the former Lori Doub. Mrs. Greutman survives.
Russ loved being Papaw to Kailey, Abel, Avin, Penny, Amelia, and Ellie Parsley. He also enjoyed teaching and preaching at Christ’s Church of Connersville. In his leisure time, Russ enjoyed spending time outdoors.
Besides his wife, Lori Greutman, survivors include his mother, Datha Greutman; two sisters, Ginny (Jack) Whitcomb and Barbara Willoughby; two step-sons, Matthew (Raechel) Parsley, Adam (Amanda) Parsley, and their children; three nieces, Amanda, Vanessa, and Ashley; and two nephews, Chad and Dustin.
Russell was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Greutman; and a sister, Debbie Greutman.
Family and friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Mike Harbour of Christ’s Church in Wauseon, Ohio will officiate.
