Ruth Ann Fouts, 93, of Modoc passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at her residence. She was born May 5, 1928 in Delaware County, Indiana, a daughter of the late James Ray and Claircie Faye (Benson) Driscoll.
A homemaker, Ruth Ann graduated from Losantville High School. She was a past member of Eastern Star. Ruth Ann was a faithful and active member of Losantville United Methodist Church her entire life. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and family activities. She was an actively engaged partner in the family farm.
Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Linda (Ed) Jackson of Fort Wayne, Marcia (Duane) Sickels of Lynn and Sharon (David) Merrill of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren, Emily (Ivan) Almodovar, Megan (William) Gray, Dexter Sickels, Greg (Janette) Sickels, Jennifer Merrill (Kai Quin) and Michelle Merrill (Nathan Butler); and sixteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Fouts and a sister, Rebecca Dice.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Losantville United Methodist Church with Pastor Maureen Walby officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Losantville.
