Salem Gray Goodwin, age 19 days old of Richmond Indiana died at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital on May 5, 2021.

Salem was born on April 16, 2021 at Saint Vincent Hospital for Woman in Indianapolis Indiana. Right from the start Salem was a fighter. Salem had his Momma’s nose and his Daddy’s toes. He was the perfect combination of his parents. Salem had a head full of the softest dark hair. Not a person who met him could resist running their finger though it. He spent his 19 days here on earth in the Nicu/Picu. However that did not stop him from snatching everyone’s hearts an running away with them.

Salem is survived by #Salems Army. His mother Drew Carpenter, father Jason Goodwin. His grandparents Rusty Carpenter, Tia Holliday, Jason C. Goodwin and Sierra Henry all of Richmond Indiana. Great grandparents Lois Culbertson, Dianna Key, Carol and Tommy Borden, Bob and Rita Holliday. Multiple aunts and uncles.
