Sandra Cole, 71, of Richmond passed away December 23, 2016 at her home after a long illness.
She was born in Richmond to Elmer Joseph and Mildred Louise Goss Pugh and lived in Telico Plains, TN for 15 years before returning to Richmond for the last 14 years of her life.
She worked at WELCO and was a cashier at Sonoco gas station.
She is survived by her six brothers and sisters; Betty (Jack) Dooley of Centerville, Rose (Gene) Jackson of Richmond, Linda Simpson (her cat Sockies) of Richmond, Tommy (Nancy) Pugh of Richmond, David (Joan) Pugh of Abington, Steve (Rebecca) Pugh of Williamsburg, several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a special friend and cousin Sheila Atkins of Richmond; her friend Tommy Jackson and dog Little Sassy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jimmy Cole, two brothers Bobby, Fred, two sisters Ethel and Marilyn.
There will be no public services. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
