Wind chill advisory, weather-related delays for Friday, Jan. 25

From Wayne County Emergency Management Agency:
WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 1 PM EST FRIDAY…
WHAT…Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 15 below zero expected.
WHERE…Portions of East Central Indiana and Central and West Central Ohio.
WHEN…From 3 AM to 1 PM EST Friday.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The low wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will combine to create low wind chills. Frostbite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves.

WAYNE COUNTY
Two-hour delays
Centerville-Abington Schools
Community Christian School
Hand-in-Hand Adult Day Care in Richmond. Center will open at 9 a.m. and vans will leave at 9:30 a.m.
Here we Grow Preschool will be operating on a delay. Morning class will run from 10-11:30 a.m. Afternoon class will be regular time.
Nettle Creek Schools
Northeastern Wayne Schools
Richmond Community Schools: Buses will run two hour later than usual. Pick-up points and announced dismissal times will remain the same. A light breakfast will be served. There will be no morning preschool classes.
Seton Catholic Schools
Western Wayne Schools: WWES begins at 10:00, and there will be no morning preschool.

CANCELLATION
Golay Community Center will not have morning aerobics classes.
