Sharon Kay Reeves, 75, of Richmond, died Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Ambassador Health Care in Centerville. She was born May 4, 1943, in Richmond to Dan and Ruth Irene Ryan McDaniel and lived here all her life. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed Bingo, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include four children Sheryl (Juan) Miller and Harley (Teresa) Reeves Jr. of Richmond, Danny (Dawn) Reeves of Lantana, Florida, Clarkie (Kim) Reeves of Richmond, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren including a special grandchild Darren (Whitney) Reeves of Richmond, one brother Ronny (Mary) McDaniel of Richmond, two sisters Oddie Spillars of Asheville, North Carolina and Phyllis (Mike) Ashers of Richmond, several nieces and nephews.
Her husband Harley A. Reeves Sr. died April 15, 2008. She is preceded in death by two daughters Penny Toney and Jamaka Walters, her parents, four brothers Danny, Shorty, Terry, and Freddie McDaniel, one sister Sadie Day.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday January 31, 2019 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Robert Maupin officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
