Shirley Ann Duncan, 82, of Connersville passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.

She was born July 31, 1937 to Ruth Louise Meyers in New Salem, Indiana.

On June 15, 1951, Shirley married Stanley Glenn Duncan, a native of Connersville. Mr. Duncan passed away on March 29, 1998.

Shirley spent most of her life as a devoted homemaker. She also worked in nursing home health care for a period of time.

In her leisure, she enjoyed working on puzzle books and word searches, and she enjoyed watching her morning game shows and afternoon soap operas. She also treasured her time at family picnics and reunions. Spending time with her family was very important to her, and she especially loved being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a brother, Dale Eugene Howell of Connersville; two daughters, Yvonne “Chris” Davis and her husband Larry of Connersville and Beverly Isaacs of Jackson County, Kentucky; four sons, Steven Duncan, David Duncan, and Ricky Duncan, all of Connersville, and Donald Duncan of Stewartville, Minnesota; and an uncle, Henry “Hank” Meyers of Connersville. She is also blessed with nineteen grandchildren, many great-grand children, and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Glenn Duncan, a daughter, Linda Loyd, and a son, Nathan Phillip Duncan.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2020 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2020 at the funeral home with Reverend Mike Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
