Shirley Faye Harmon, 69, a resident of The Waters of New Castle, passed away on the evening of Friday, August 27, 2021 at Henry Community Health.
She was born on January 27, 1952 in Barren, Kentucky, the daughter of Wesley Harmon and Adrene (Bertram) Harmon.
Shirley graduated from Walter P. Chrysler High School in New Castle and worked for several area companies. She enjoyed reading her Bible and Christian books. Shirley attended the Pilgrim Holiness Church for many years.
She is survived by one brother, Rick (Debbie) Harmon of New Castle; two nieces, Amy (Joe) Crabtree and Christie (Jason) Dorn both of New Castle; great-nieces and great-nephew, Riley and Kendall Crabtree, Austin and Adley Dorn, and several aunts and cousins.
Shirley was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Adrene and Jim Horton.
Graveside services will be held privately in South Mound West Lawn Addition.
