Tammy Marie May 51 of Richmond died May 19, 2018 at Franciscan Health in Greenwood after a three year battle with Leukemia. She was born April 18, 1967 in Richmond to Willie May and Jean Goff Reed and lived here all her life. Tammy worked in Quality Control at Suncall America and a was a graduate of Ivy Tech with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. Tammy was an advocate for rescue animals and volunteered at Animal Care Alliance and Help the Animals. She loved her grandchildren and her pets.
Survivors include her son Michael Napier of Richmond three grandchildren Gunnar, Joscelyn, and Grayson Napier, her mother Jean Reed of Richmond, her father Willie May of Barbourville, Kentucky, four brothers Dean (Tina) May of Fountain City, Rodney (Tera) May of Williamsburg, Jerry (Misty) Holliday of Centerville, and Darrell May of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, her daughter-in-law Kristina (Chango) Noaks, several special friends, her two dogs Nas and Angel and her cat Cheerios.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday May 23, 2018 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Mathews officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Animal Care Alliance 4101 National Road West Richmond, Indiana 47374.
