Tara Nichole (Niki) Frasher, age 44 of Connersville, passed away on Friday April 1, 2022. Tara had been in failing health, but her death was unexpected. She was born on January 30, 1978, the daughter of Deborah Hayslett Frost and the late Woodrow M. Frasher, Sr.
Tara’s life had not been an easy one. She was blind for seven years and had been on dialysis. She was very spunky and liked to joke around with people. Tara was a joy to be around.
In addition to her mother, Deborah, she is survived by two sons, Brian Austin Tyler Jackson of Richmond and Duncan James Kenneth Jackson of Cambridge City; brothers, Stephen Sherwood, Michael (Rosie) Sherwood, Woodrow M Frasher, Jr., Matthew Frasher, Mark Frasher and Shane Frasher; sister, Debbie Sue Meyers; four grandchildren, Drake, Skylar, James and Jadison Jackson; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father Woodrow; her daughter Dakota Lynn Ward; paternal grandparents, Merle and Hazel Frasher and maternal grandparents, Roland and Wilma Hayslett.
Friends and family may gather at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with funeral services conducted at 7:00 pm.
